Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has departed for China on an official visit from February 4 to 8, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Senator Saleem Mandviwalla, and Dr. Asim Hussain.
During his visit, President Zardari will meet top Chinese leadership, including President Xi Jinping and State Council Premier Li Qiang. The visit is seen as a crucial step in strengthening bilateral ties and enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Pakistan and China.
Key discussions will focus on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), regional connectivity, security cooperation, and other significant bilateral matters.
