Faisalabad police have arrested two suspects involved in the gang rape of a woman in Painsra town. The victim, a Lahore resident, had visited Faisalabad to meet a friend, Muhammad Waseem, but an argument led to her being left alone. She then went to Waseem’s house, where they again argued, and he called his friend Abdul Raheem for temporary accommodation.
At Raheem’s house, a suspect, Imran alias Mani, and his accomplices entered, thrashed Waseem, tied him up, and gang raped the victim. The suspects also snatched their mobile phones. The victim suspects Abdul Raheem and Waseem were involved in the crime.
A first information report (FIR) was lodged, and two suspects have been arrested. The search for other suspects is underway.
