LAHORE, (News Desk): Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar has said PML-N government fully believes in freedom of expression and press.
He said this in a statement issued here Monday.
He has congratulated newly elected office bearers of Lahore Press Club (LPC) including Arshid Ansari president, Zahid Abid secretary, Afzal Talib senior vice president, Saima Nawaz vice president, Imran Sheikh joint secretary and Salik Nawaz finance secretary.
He also congratulated newly elected governing body. .

He held journalist community of Lahore has a vital role in promoting supremacy of law and constitution and democratic norms.The Minister said government is taking all possible measures for the welfare of journalists.

He underlined press club is robust voice of the journalists. Press club always took the problems facing people to respective forums.Government is taking all possible steps for welfare of the journalists.
It is hoped that newly elected leadership of Lahore Press Club will play its role for uplift of the journalists, he added.
