Islamabad:Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring top-tier services for Hajj 2025 pilgrims, emphasizing that no negligence will be tolerated in assisting the “guests of Allah.”

During a review meeting on preparations for Hajj 2025, attended by federal ministers Ahsan Iqbal, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, and other senior officials, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of efficient and transparent arrangements.

The meeting included a detailed briefing on Hajj preparations, highlighting progress on the Hajj Fund, which is nearing completion. It was also revealed that, as in previous years, pilgrims will receive SIM cards from Pakistan, and the Hajj mobile application will remain active to assist them.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif instructed officials to submit detailed plans for the selection, responsibilities, and training of Hajj assistants. He underscored the importance of appointing officers with impeccable reputations for Hajj duty and maintaining the highest standards of transparency and merit in the selection process.

“Hajj pilgrims are Allah’s guests, and their service is a sacred duty,” the Prime Minister remarked. “Any laxity in their assistance or facilitation will not be accepted. Every effort must be made to ensure their comfort and convenience.”

The Prime Minister also directed that comprehensive training programs be organized for pilgrims and stressed the importance of their accommodation, travel, and other logistics being meticulously planned. He concluded by instructing officials to present a comprehensive briefing on Hajj preparations within the next few days.

The government is committed to providing seamless services and upholding the sanctity of this spiritual journey for all pilgrims.
