PM Shehbaz Sharif to Embark on Two-Day Official Visit to Saudi Arabia

slamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is set to depart for a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia tomorrow, at the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

During the visit, the Prime Minister will hold a crucial meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince, marking their third interaction in just six weeks. The discussions are expected to cover key regional developments, including the changing geopolitical landscape and other significant matters.

Sources indicate that Prime Minister Shehbaz will also attend the Water Summit in Riyadh and participate in the Conference of the Parties (COP) under the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD). This global platform focuses on land restoration and is one of the three major Rio Conventions.

In addition, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres and other international leaders during the visit, aiming to strengthen Pakistan’s diplomatic ties and cooperation on global issues.
