According to official sources, Shehbaz Sharif left Islamabad earlier today for Riyadh, where he will meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and other senior officials during a one-day official visit. The discussions are expected to cover a range of issues, including economic cooperation, trade, energy projects, and regional security dynamics.
Government media reported that the Prime Minister’s visit to Saudi Arabia comes on the personal invitation of the Crown Prince and will focus on enhancing strategic partnership between the two countries. After completing his engagements in Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister will fly to the United Kingdom for a two-day stay, where he is scheduled to meet with UK political leadership and members of the Pakistani diaspora. The final leg of Shehbaz Sharif’s tour will be in the United States, where he will address the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
