In response to the ongoing emergency in Parachinar, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has instructed the Cabinet Division to allocate a helicopter for the delivery of medicines, patient transfers, and other relief efforts.
Under the Prime Minister’s directive, the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) is carrying out a crucial relief operation, ensuring the timely supply of medicines to meet the emergency medical needs of children, women, and elderly individuals in Parachinar.
The first helicopter, carrying 500 kilograms of medicines, arrived in Parachinar today. On its return, it brought four patients to Islamabad for medical treatment.
A second helicopter, carrying an additional 500 kilograms of medicines, departed from Islamabad to Parachinar this afternoon and will bring more patients back to Islamabad upon its return.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif expressed his solidarity with the people of Parachinar and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during this time of hardship, assuring them of continued support.
