PM accords approval to portfolios of members of newly inducted cabinet

Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has accorded approval to portfolios of members of newly inducted cabinet.
Cabinet division has issued formal notification in this regard.
Ministries of certain ministers have been changed. The additional ministries have been withdrawn from those who were holding more than one ministries.

As per notification Khawaja Asif will now be only defence minister. Ministry of defence production has been taken back from him.

Azam Nazir Tarar will now only be minister of law, justice and human rights. Ministry for parliamentary affairs has been taken back from him.

Ministry of petroleum has been taken back from Musaddaq Maalik and he has been appointed federal minister for climate change.

Atta Ullah Tarar will remain information minister.

Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui will be education minister . Ministry of Maritime affairs has been withdrawn from Qaisar Ahmad Sheikh. He will now be minister of investment board.

Ministries of investment and privatization have been withdrawn from Abdul Aleem Khan and now he will be minister for communication.

Chaudhry Salik Hussain will now be minster for overseas Pakistanis affairs and ministry of religious affaris has been taken back from him.

Rana Tanvir will be minister for national food security and ministry of industries and production has been withdrawn from him.

Among new federal ministers Tariq Fazal Chaudhry will be miniser for parliamentary affairs, Ali Pervaiz Malik minister for petroleum, Aurangzeb Khan Khichi minister for national culture and heritage.

Khalid Hussain Magsi will be minister for science and technology, Hanif Abbasi Railway,, Moin Wattoo for water resources, Junaid Anwar for maritime affairs, Raza Hayat Hiraj defence production, Sardar Muhammad Yousuf minister for religious affairs and religious harmony, Shiza Fatima Khawaja for information technology, Rana Mubashar Iqbal for public affairs unit and Mustafa Kamal for national health.

Additionally, Malik Rasheed Ahmad Khan has been appointed as Minister of State for National Food Security and Research, Abdul Rehman Kanju as Minister of State for Power and Public Affairs Unit, and Aqeel Malik as Minister of State for Law and Justice.

Bilal Azhar Kayani has been appointed as Minister of State for Railways, Kesoo Mal Kheel Das as Minister of State for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, and Muhammad Aun Saqlain as Minister of State for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development. Syed Tauqeer Hussain Shah has been appointed as Adviser to the Prime Minister’s Office, Muhammad Ali as Adviser for Privatization, and Pervez Khattak as Adviser for Interior Affairs.

Haroon Akhtar has been appointed as Special Assistant to the Prime Minister for Industries and Production, while Huzaifa Rehman will serve as Special Assistant for National Heritage and Culture, Mubarak Zeb as Special Assistant for Tribal Affairs, and Talha Barki as Special Assistant for Political Affairs.
