ISLAMABAD, : Prime Minister (PM) Shehbaz Sharif has accorded approval to operationalise Digital Communication Department (DCD).
Under this funds will be utilized to make counter narrative of anti state narrative.
According to sources the threats facing the national security will be countered. 54 posts have been set up in DCD. Government potential will be enhanced to trace digital threat.
DCD will conduct real monitoring of Online activities.
Information ministry has demanded Rs 530 million immediately in this respect. Economic coordination committee will give approval to release funds on December 19.
