Islamabad: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has revived another long-dormant aircraft, adding it back to its fleet.
A spokesperson for PIA confirmed that the process of fleet expansion is ongoing, with a long-inactive ATR model aircraft recently brought into operation. The inclusion of this aircraft is expected to enhance flight services and capacity for routes to Gilgit, Sukkur, Turbat, and Gwadar.
It is worth noting that on December 22, PIA also added an Airbus A320 model aircraft to its fleet. According to the CEO of PIA, the management is fully committed to ensuring schedule adherence and timely flights. PIA has set a target of achieving a 90% on-time performance, which is being successfully met on a daily basis.
