Karachi, (News Desk) A Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight traveling from Karachi to Islamabad was forced to return and make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff due to a technical malfunction.
A PIA spokesperson confirmed that Flight PK-300 encountered an issue with its landing gear, which failed to retract after takeoff. The CEO of PIA, Khurram Mushtaq, was also on board the flight.
The plane landed back in Karachi approximately 25 minutes after departure. Passengers will be transferred to a new aircraft and are expected to depart shortly.
