Six people were injured after a man threw a petrol bomb at a pro-Israel demonstration in Boulder, Colorado, on Sunday afternoon. The FBI has classified the incident as an act of domestic terrorism.

According to local media and eyewitnesses, the attacker approached a gathering of the Jewish community during a rally in support of Israel and shouted pro-Palestinian slogans before launching the incendiary device.

Law enforcement swiftly responded to emergency calls reporting people on fire and a suspect carrying a weapon. Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfern stated that the attack occurred around 1:30 PM local time. First responders found multiple victims with burn injuries at the scene.

A suspect was taken into custody without resistance. FBI Special Agent-in-Charge Kashif Patel confirmed that federal authorities are treating the incident as a coordinated terror act. Investigations are ongoing, and authorities have not yet released details about the suspect’s identity or motives.

White House officials confirmed that President Donald Trump was briefed on the incident. The attack has sparked concern among local Jewish communities, with leaders calling for increased security and unity in the face of rising tensions.
