Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, head of Pakistan’s diplomatic committee on Indian atrocities and former foreign minister, has stated that peace in South Asia is not possible until the Kashmir dispute is resolved and India stops using terrorism as a political weapon against Muslims.

Leading a high-level delegation on Prime Minister’s instructions, Bilawal arrived in New York as part of a diplomatic mission to present Pakistan’s stance on recent Indian aggression. The delegation will also visit Washington D.C., London, and Brussels, engaging with international bodies, think tanks, media, and diaspora communities.

According to Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan, the delegation includes prominent figures like Dr. Musaddiq Masood Malik, Senator Sherry Rehman, Hina Rabbani Khar, Khurram Dastgir Khan, Faisal Sabzwari, Bushra Anjum Butt, and former foreign secretaries Jalil Abbas Jilani and Tehmina Janjua.

Bilawal emphasized that Pakistan seeks peace based on equality, and India’s actions — including weaponizing water resources like the Indus River and state-sponsored terrorism — are direct threats to regional stability.

He warned that as long as India continues to persecute Muslims in India, Kashmir, and beyond under the guise of counter-terrorism, real peace in the region will remain out of reach.

“Pakistan’s message is simple,” he said. “We want peace, but only on equal terms and through just solutions.”
