PCB Makes Major Announcement Ahead of PSL 10

PCB Introduces Fans’ Choice Awards Ahead of PSL 10

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the launch of the Fans’ Choice Awards ahead of the 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL).

According to the PCB’s official statement, fans will have the opportunity to vote for players who delivered the best performances in previous PSL editions.

The Fans’ Choice Awards will feature six categories:

  1. Best Batter
  2. Best Bowler
  3. Best All-Rounder
  4. Most Valuable Player
  5. Best Individual Bowling Performance
  6. Best Individual Batting Performance

The players receiving the highest number of votes will be announced during the PSL draft ceremony on January 11, 2025.

HBL PSL CEO Salman Naseer highlighted the significance of fan engagement, saying:
“The success of the event would not have been possible without the support of fans. The Fans’ Choice Awards are our way of recognizing their passion and dedication. Through these awards, we aim to provide them a platform to celebrate their favorite players and moments.”

It is worth noting that the PSL draft for the upcoming season will take place in the scenic city of Gwadar, Balochistan, on January 11, 2025.

PSL Champions Through the Years:

  • Islamabad United has won three titles: 2016, 2018, and 2024.
  • Lahore Qalandars clinched back-to-back titles in 2022 and 2023.
  • Peshawar Zalmi triumphed in 2017.
  • Quetta Gladiators secured victory in 2019.
  • Karachi Kings claimed their first title in 2020.
  • Multan Sultans emerged as champions in 2021.

The introduction of the Fans’ Choice Awards promises to add more excitement to PSL 10, celebrating the league’s legacy and the contributions of its dedicated supporters.
