Peshawar: In protest against the closure of roads, all public and private educational institutions in Parachinar have been closed.
For the past month, the closure of roads in Parachinar has led to the shutdown of all educational institutions starting today as a form of protest.
The heads of educational institutions have stated that schools and colleges will remain closed until the central highway is reopened and made safe.
Member of the National Assembly from Parachinar, Hamid Hussain, expressed that the unrest and road closures have disrupted every sector of life, with overseas Pakistanis losing their visas and tickets due to the situation.
On the other hand, the Deputy Commissioner mentioned that a final decision is expected today in the ongoing Grand Jirga in Kohat, aimed at restoring peace.
