News DeskPakistan has made history by becoming the first team to clean sweep South Africa in a One-Day International (ODI) series on their home ground.
In the third and final ODI played in Johannesburg, the Pakistani team not only won the match but also achieved a clean sweep in the series.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 309 runs before losing nine wickets, setting South Africa a target of 310. Pakistan’s top scorers were Saeem Ayub with 101 runs, Babar Azam with 52, Mohammad Rizwan with 53, and Salman Agha with 48 runs.
Pakistan’s bowlers delivered an impressive performance, dismissing the entire South African team for 271 runs. Sufyan Maqeem claimed four wickets, while Shaheen Afridi and Naseem Shah took two wickets each. Mohammad Hasnain and Saeem Ayub also picked up one wicket apiece.
Saeem Ayub was named both Player of the Match and Player of the Series for his exceptional performances throughout the series.
