Islamabad – Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has taken notice of complaints regarding reduced gas supply to domestic consumers.
The issue was discussed during a review meeting chaired by the Prime Minister to assess the country’s gas supply situation.
During the meeting, the Prime Minister directed authorities to ensure an uninterrupted gas supply to households as a top priority. “Ensuring consistent gas supply to domestic consumers is the government’s foremost responsibility,” he emphasized.
Officials briefed the Prime Minister, stating that surplus RLNG is currently available in the system and improvements have been made in gas load management compared to the previous year.
The directive comes amid complaints from various cities about low gas pressure or complete gas outages affecting domestic consumers. The government has pledged to address these issues promptly.
