According to international media reports, Australian environmental experts have confirmed that a large number of false killer whales have been stranded on the coast, prompting extensive rescue efforts.
In an official statement, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment revealed that the whales have been trapped for approximately 24 to 48 hours, with specialists actively working at the site.
Officials from the Tasmania Parks and Wildlife Service reported that out of the 157 stranded whales, only 90 are believed to be alive. Experts are now assessing whether the surviving whales can be guided back into the water.
