The Grand Opposition Alliance has begun deliberations on convening an All Parties Conference (APC) to address the country’s political, economic, constitutional, and security challenges.

Sources reveal that opposition leaders have emphasized the need to unite democratic forces on a common platform to tackle the issues facing the nation. The primary agenda of the alliance is to uphold the supremacy of the Constitution and restore the rule of law.

The APC is expected to include representatives from various sectors, including lawyers, academics, farmers, and civil society, to analyze the challenges from multiple perspectives.

The Grand Opposition Alliance aims not only to critique the government’s failures and current crises but also to propose practical steps to guide the country in the right direction.

According to sources, the opposition alliance discussed the APC agenda during a meeting with former PPP Senator Mustafa Nawaz Khokhar. In recent days, the alliance has reached out to various political parties and leaders to find solutions to the ongoing political crises.

Additionally, the opposition is considering engaging former Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry. Given that Fawad Chaudhry has yet to decide on rejoining PTI, he could play a significant role within the opposition alliance.

This move appears to be part of a broader political strategy by the opposition to increase pressure on the government and present an alternative leadership focused on resolving the public’s grievances.
