Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan (TTAP), the alliance of opposition parties, has convened an All-Parties Conference after Eidul Fitr to discuss the political as well as law and order situation in the country.
The alliance, at its meeting on Wednesday, invited all parties to the conference, barring the government.
And in order to buttress the alliance further and organise the anti-government movement, the TTAP also announced the formation of three sub-committees.
Former National Assembly speaker Asad Qaiser was made the head of the coordination committee, Hamid Raza the head of the political committee, while the third committee was constituted to oversee arrangements for convening the All-Parties Conference.
Latif Khosa, who was made the committee head, was assigned the task to approach other political parties for the purpose.
