Tucked away in the scenic fields of Narowal’s Khokhar village stands the breathtaking Noor Masjid, a mosque that embodies the perfect blend of architecture, spirituality, and natural beauty. Inspired by the design of Masjid-e-Nabawi (PBUH), this stunning structure is considered Pakistan’s 8th most beautiful mosque.

Built in 2016 by Lt. Gen. (retd) Israr Ahmed Ghumman, Noor Masjid is a tribute to the spiritual Sufi guide Pir Nusrat Naqshbandi, whose shrine is adjacent to the mosque. The mosque’s architecture is a testament to the craftsmen’s skill, with bright glasswork, elegant interiors, and exquisite chandeliers. The complex can accommodate 2,500 people and features a large ablution room, a library with over 10,000 Islamic books, and a public dispensary.

Locals and visitors alike are drawn to the mosque’s serene atmosphere, with many traveling from afar to seek peace and calm. The mosque has become a major religious tourist attraction and hosts the biggest Eid prayers in Narowal.
