In a recent interview, actress Sonakshi Sinha clarified that she was never pressured by Zaheer Iqbal’s family to convert to Islam. She emphasized that religion was never a barrier in their relationship.
“We are two people in love who wanted to get married. Zaheer never imposed his faith on me, nor did I impose mine on him. It was never a topic of discussion,” Sonakshi stated.
She added that they respect each other’s religions and traditions. “He follows certain customs of his family, just as he joins me in Diwali prayers. Similarly, I participate in his religious ceremonies.”
