Senator Irfan Siddiqui has ruled out extending any further invitations for negotiations with (PTI), stating that the time for such offers has passed.
Speaking to the media, Siddiqui emphasized that the government is neither offering talks nor extending any invitations to PTI. He clarified that keeping the door open for negotiations does not mean actively inviting or waiting for anyone. “Now, it is up to PTI to decide when it wants serious and result-oriented discussions. They should not approach us just for political theatrics,” he remarked.
The senior PML-N leader further stated that if PTI decides to come for talks, the situation will be assessed accordingly. Referring to PTI’s founder, he noted that Imran Khan has now resorted to letter writing and is reportedly drafting a third letter. Siddiqui also claimed that civilian supremacy was never a genuine objective of the PTI founder.
