irector General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has clarified that no Indian pilot is currently in Pakistan’s custody, dismissing rumors circulating on social media.

In a joint press conference with Vice Admiral Navy Rabb Nawaz and Air Vice Marshal Aurangzeb Ahmad, DG ISPR addressed the media’s questions regarding the issue. He emphatically stated that the reports of an Indian pilot being detained were false and lacked any factual basis.

Furthermore, DG ISPR clarified that it was not Pakistan that sought a ceasefire, but rather India, which had made the request through the United States. He reiterated that the ceasefire was India’s desire, not Pakistan’s initiative.

He also emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces remain vigilant and fully prepared to respond to any future acts of aggression or provocation with even greater force.
