Islamabad (News Desk): Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsen Iqbal, stated that the confidential proceedings of the Apex Committee should not be commented on. Responding to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s statement regarding the Apex Committee meeting, Iqbal emphasized that the committee’s proceedings are confidential and should not be discussed publicly.
When asked by a journalist whether Gandapur had demanded a judicial commission in the Apex Committee, Iqbal responded, “Ali Amin Gandapur is a respected figure, and we understand his difficulties. He has to balance between his position as Chief Minister and keeping his party satisfied.” He added, “Some statements are political, while others are official matters; it’s important to distinguish between the two.”
In response to a question about whether PTI’s demands were justified, Iqbal said, “Whether PTI’s demands are justified or not will be decided by the negotiation committee.”
