Mumbai Police Fails to Arrest the Suspect Even After Three Days
A new CCTV footage has emerged showing the individual who attacked Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan. Despite three days passing, Mumbai Police have yet to apprehend the attacker. The person arrested yesterday was released after questioning, as he turned out to be a look-alike of the actual suspect and had no involvement in the incident.
According to Mumbai Police, the latest CCTV footage shows the assailant purchasing a hands-free device in Mumbai. The police have now obtained the suspect’s image from four different CCTV cameras.
Indian media reports that Saif Ali Khan’s domestic helper revealed that the attacker demanded a ransom of one crore rupees from the actor.
On Thursday, Saif Ali Khan was attacked outside his home with a knife, resulting in severe injuries. He was rushed to Leelavati Hospital, where he underwent a two-hour-long surgery. The actor was transferred from the ICU to a regular ward on Friday, and while he is still receiving treatment, doctors have stated that his condition is improving.
