TEL AVIV: ( The COW News Digital )– Following the Trump administration’s attack on Iran’s three nuclear sites, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed the media, on Sunday.
The right-wing Israeli PM started off his media address by congratulating the US President, stating that his “bold decision to target Iran’s nuclear faculties with the awesome and righteous mind of the United States will change history”.
The occupying leader praised his country’s operation aimed at dismantling Iran’s nuclear facilities. “In Operation Rising Line, Israel has done truly amazing things”. However, Netanyahu argued, the Trump administration’s decision to strike Iran’s three main nuclear facilities overshadowed everything. “But in tonight’s action against Iran’s nuclear facilities, America has been truly unsurpassed”, he declared.
Using a bit out of place words such as ‘awesome’ and heaping huge praise on Trump, Netanyahu made no attempt to hide stroking the billionaire’s ego. The Israeli PM said declared the US decision to strike a sovereign state as something “no other country on Earth could do”.
Almost his entire media address centred around Trump, instead of the US as a state. “History will record that President Trump acted to deny the world’s most dangerous regime, the world’s most dangerous weapons”, he said, insinuating that Iran possessing nuclear weapons somehow is extremely dangerous, despite Israel itself possessing weapons; however, it maintains silence on the matter.
Netanyahu went on to state how Trump’s “leadership today has created a pivot of history that can help lead the Middle East and beyond to a future of prosperity and peace”, disregarding the active genocide perpetrated by Israel in Gaza, killing thousands of civilians in Lebanon, and over 430 killed in just a fortnight in Iran.
The Israeli PM then hinted at the US President and himself being of the same mind. “President Trump and I often say, “Peace through strength. First comes strength, then comes peace”, implying somehow that peace can be achieved through violence. This echoes the long-term policy by the US justifying its invasions of other states by talking about bringing ‘freedom’ to the invaded populace.
“And tonight the President of the United States acted with a lot of strength”.
The Israeli PM ended his address with: “President Trump, I thank you. The people of Israel thank you”. In a really controversial statement, the occupying leader unabashedly and bold said “The forces of civilisation thank you” to Trump for bombing Iran.
“God bless America, God bless Israel, and may God bless our unshakeable alliance, our unbreakable faith”.
