Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Nauman Ali achieved the remarkable feat of taking 10 wickets in a Test match for the second time in his career during the second Test of the series against the West Indies in Multan.
The 38-year-old spinner delivered an outstanding performance, claiming six wickets in the first innings and four in the second, helping Pakistan dominate the match.
Nauman, who has played just 18 Test matches for Pakistan, now boasts an impressive tally of 83 wickets at an economy rate of 2.99.
Previously, Nauman had achieved the same milestone in October 2024 against England, also in Multan. This performance made him only the second Pakistani left-arm spinner to take 10 wickets in a single Test match. The first to accomplish this was former cricketer Iqbal Qasim, who achieved the feat in 1980.
Nauman Ali’s consistent performances continue to solidify his position as one of Pakistan’s most reliable spinners in the longest format of the game.
