The National T20 Cup is set to begin tomorrow, Friday, March 14, featuring 18 teams representing 16 regional associations. A total of 39 matches will be played across three cities—Faisalabad, Lahore, and Multan. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground, Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium, and Multan Cricket Stadium will serve as the tournament venues. The competition carries a total prize pool of PKR 9.4 million, with the winning team receiving PKR 5 million and the runner-up earning PKR 2.5 million.
The 18 teams have been divided into four groups. Group A consists of Karachi Region (Blues), Lahore Region (Whites), Larkana Region, Peshawar Region, and Quetta Region. Group B features defending champions Karachi Region (Whites), Bahawalpur Region, Lahore Region (Blues), Dera Murad Jamali, and Islamabad Region. Group C includes Abbottabad Region, Faisalabad Region, Hyderabad Region, and Rawalpindi Region, while Group D has AJK Region, FATA Region, Multan Region, and Sialkot Region.
The semi-finals will take place on March 26 (Wednesday) at the designated venues, while the final will be held on March 27 at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, starting at 7:00 PM. Another match on the same day is scheduled for 11:00 PM. Matches in Lahore and Multan will begin at 4:00 PM, with the second match starting at 9:00 PM.
