Pakistani model and actress Nadia Hussain has spoken out about the arrest of her husband, Atif Mohammad Khan, sharing video statements on Instagram on March 12. She also leaked chat screenshots and an audio recording of an individual posing as an FIA officer, allegedly attempting to extort her.
According to Nadia, the fraudster demanded a bribe of Rs. 30 million for her husband’s bail. The scammer reportedly claimed that Atif had already settled the matter and urged her to transfer the money while insisting on secrecy.
Addressing her followers, Nadia acknowledged that many were waiting for her response regarding her husband’s arrest in connection with a financial fraud case. She confirmed that Atif is currently in FIA custody but only for investigation.
“If such a massive fraud occurred, where was security? Were they asleep?” she questioned.
Nadia stated that the extent of her husband’s involvement—if any—will be determined by time and the courts. She added that she remains silent on legal advice but assured that Atif is calm and being treated well in custody.
