Media reports indicate that electricity has been disrupted in various areas of Murree, including Mall Road, Jheekagali, Bhurban, and the Expressway. The power outage has caused significant difficulties for both tourists and locals.
According to WAPDA officials, the main 132 kV line tripped, and the crew is working in the field. It may take some time to restore the electricity.
Meanwhile, due to a technical fault at the Gwadar grid station, the city of Gwadar has also experienced a power outage. Areas connected to the Gwadar grid, such as Surbandan and Nigor, have been plunged into darkness.
KESCO officials stated that technicians from Turbat have been called in to repair the grid station fault. The power outage has caused severe hardships for the residents.
