Popular Bigg Boss contestant and comedian Munawar Faruqui has finally disclosed the actual reason for his secret marriage with his second wife Mehzabeen Coatwala. Claiming that he kept his marriage private to avoid any ‘evil eye’ as he was quite scared of that.
Munawar Faruqui lately sat down for a podcast session with hosts Sana Khan and Mufti Anas during which he shared a lot about his wedding. He also condemned the concept of heavy dowry or spending big amounts on weddings.
Munawar Faruqui, while talking about his marriage, revealed that he preferred to tie the knot in a simple and private wedding ceremony in order to avoid any harm or damage due to some bad intentions.
The comedian also praised his wife Mehzabeen Coatwala for bringing much-needed stability to his life.
In case the readers are not aware, it was disclosed that Hina Khan, a close friend of Munawar Faruqui, played as the cupid for him and Mehzabeen Coatwala. She introduced them and resultantly they fell in love fell in love and got married within a few months on May 26, 2024.
It is also important to mention that Munawar was earlier married to Jasmine and has a seven-year-old son named Mikael. Afterward, he was in a relationship with Nazila Sitaishi and Ayesha Khan, which stirred up controversy. In contrast, Mehzabeen is a mother to an 11-year-old daughter from a previous marriage.
