Lahore( The COW News Digital) Religious scholar Mufti Abdul Qavi has entered the debate over Pakistan’s struggling cricket team, offering an unusual — and somewhat humorous — solution to end the team’s losing streak.
Speaking to media, Mufti Qavi said he is deeply disappointed by the national team’s performance and has come up with a “guaranteed formula” to secure victory. “I will personally provide the players with salajeet mixed with honey and dry fruits. Without following my advice, Pakistan cannot win even in the next ten years,” he declared.
Mufti Qavi insisted that cricket is a game that requires physical strength and energy. “The Chairman PCB should appoint me as an advisor to the team. I will ensure the players have the physical power needed to compete at the highest level,” he said.
He went further, making a dramatic promise: “Give the players my special preparation with milk on the morning of the match. If they still get out, then my name is not Mufti Abdul Qavi.”
The statement has gone viral on social media, with many fans amused by his suggestion while others questioned whether this unconventional remedy could actually help Pakistan cricket. Some users joked that Mufti Qavi’s “recipe” might be the missing ingredient the team needs after a string of disappointing performances.
Cricket experts, however, continue to emphasize structural reforms, better fitness training, and improved selection policies as the real solution for Pakistan’s cricketing woes.
Whether Mufti Qavi’s idea is taken seriously by the Pakistan Cricket Board remains to be seen — but it has certainly sparked fresh debate and given fans something to laugh about during a frustrating season.
