MQM Pakistan leader Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, during a press conference, said that before Eid, the citizens of this city have been plunged into mourning. Throughout Ramadan, the streets of this city have been stained with the blood of its residents.
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui stated that previously, the residents of this city were killed by robbers, and despite our continuous protests and voices, the government remained indifferent. The incident of a young girl, Bushra Zaidi, changed the political landscape of this city in the past. It’s a continuous pattern of negligence and cruelty being inflicted upon this city.
He mentioned that the dumper and truck mafia have taken this city hostage, while the drug mafia and arms mafia ruined the city in the 1980s. Just as higher courts take suo motu action on even minor issues, if we do not get justice from the courts, they should tell us which door to knock on.
He added that the Prime Minister and President of the country should tell us where to go. Even after protesting against all the crimes, unemployment, and ethnic and biased decisions in this city, if we are not allowed to protest, MQM is going to file a petition in court on these matters, and we are going to present our case in court again.
