Motorway Police Crack Down on Over-Speeding, Register First FIR

The Motorway Police have started registering FIRs against over-speeding, with the first case filed near Multan on the M-4 Motorway against a Peshawar resident.

According to the FIR, Rahim Khan from Peshawar exceeded the designated speed limit of 120 km/h, driving at 173 km/h. The Motorway Police took the driver and his vehicle into custody and handed them over to the local police.

The case, registered on behalf of the police, includes charges of reckless and over-speeding driving.
