The love for the homeland and the sacrifice of one’s life for the nation is the hallmark of Pakistan’s brave soldiers, whose sacrifices have strengthened the foundation of Pakistan. One such story of bravery and sacrifice is that of Sepoy Raheel Ahmad, who embraced martyrdom while fighting terrorists on April 29, 2024, in the Awaran district.
Sepoy Raheel Ahmad, hailing from Multan, courageously laid down his life in defense of the nation, leaving behind his mother, siblings, and family. His family expressed deep emotions, remembering him as a smart and brave young man. After completing his education, he joined the Pakistan Army, fulfilling his lifelong desire to serve the country and make the ultimate sacrifice.
His mother expressed her immense pride, saying, “I am proud that my son was martyred for the nation and the cause of truth. He fought bravely against terrorists and gave his life for Pakistan.” She added, “He was always obedient and took great care of me. He often visited me in my dreams and reassured me, saying, ‘Don’t worry, I am martyred in Allah’s path.’ I consider myself fortunate to be the mother of a martyr. I am ready to sacrifice my other three sons for the country.”
Raheel Ahmad’s brother shared that he often prayed for martyrdom, and Allah granted his wish. “Though we miss him dearly, we are proud that he was martyred for the nation.”
Raheel Ahmad’s sister mentioned that her brother had always dreamed of joining the army. “He cared deeply for my needs and wishes. Before his final mission, he called me and said he was heading to fight terrorists. He asked for prayers for success. I am proud that Allah granted him the honor of martyrdom.”
The bravery and courage of Sepoy Raheel Ahmad will forever be etched in history. His ultimate sacrifice for his country is a source of pride for all.
