According to the Meteorological Department, cold weather with partly cloudy skies is expected in most parts of the country on Tuesday.
The report indicates that mountainous areas are likely to experience severe cold during the morning and nighttime hours. Light rain and snowfall are expected at a few locations in northern Balochistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Gilgit-Baltistan during the evening or night.
The Meteorological Department also forecasts moderate to dense fog during the morning and nighttime in most plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and upper Sindh.
Today, most areas of the country experienced cold and dry weather, while mountainous regions remained severely cold. Dense fog prevailed over most districts of Punjab and upper Sindh.
On Monday, the lowest recorded temperatures included Leh at -13°C, Gupis at -10°C, Skardu at -9°C, Gilgit at -7°C, Astore and Hunza at -6°C, and Kalam and Kalat at -5°C.
