Recently, YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia appeared on the show India’s Got Latent, where he asked a contestant derogatory questions about their parents and even offered ₹20 million for an inappropriate act.
Following the incident, a police complaint was filed against Ranveer, comedian Samay Raina, and other show judges, including Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija. The controversy sparked massive outrage on Indian social media, with many prominent actors and directors condemning Ranveer’s remarks.
In response to the backlash, Ranveer Allahbadia released a video statement apologizing for his controversial comments.
Meanwhile, Pakistani actress and host Mishi Khan weighed in on the controversy, drawing a comparison with Pakistani YouTubers. In a recent video, she stated, “The entire India is standing against Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Major TV shows are calling for their boycott because their content contains profanity and offensive language.”
