Massive Raid at Lahore Airport: FIA Arrests Fugitive Wanted for 16 Years

In a significant operation, the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Interpol and Immigration wing intercepted a passenger at Allama Iqbal International Airport Lahore, leading to the arrest of a person wanted for 16 years. The accused, Fahad Mehmood, was attempting to escape to Greece from Lahore Airport.

According to the FIA spokesperson, Fahad Mehmood was wanted by the Gujranwala police in a murder case registered in 2008 at the Cantt police station. The accused was handed over to the Punjab Police authorities after his arrest.

This successful operation highlights the effectiveness of the FIA’s efforts in apprehending fugitives and bringing them to justice.
