Masjid al-Nabawi Welcomes 5.6 Million Visitors in One Week

Medina (News Desk) – The General Authority for the Affairs of Masjid al-Nabawi has reported that over 5.6 million visitors were welcomed at the sacred site during the past week.

According to an official statement, 5,663,488 visitors paid respects at the Prophet’s Tomb (Rawdah al-Sharifah), while 367,739 worshippers offered prayers at Riyadh al-Jannah. Language translation services were provided to 46,731 visitors from various countries to ensure a smooth experience.

During the week, 1,460 tons of Zamzam water were distributed to visitors, with 158 samples sent to laboratories to ensure its quality. Additionally, 24,256 liters of sanitizer were used to maintain cleanliness, and 179,056 iftar meal packs were distributed at designated areas within the mosque.

These efforts reflect the continuous commitment to catering to the needs of pilgrims and ensuring a serene and hygienic environment at the holy site.
