Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi has expressed concerns over the worsening law and order situation in the province.
Talking to media in Peshawar, Faisal Kundi has urged the Army Chief to play a crucial role in restoring peace in the region.
He said, “I fully support the Army Chief’s statement. Overseas Pakistanis are our pride.” Kundi also said that the Pakistan Army plays a central role in the fight against terrorism.
The Governor criticized the provincial government for not being serious about peace and security. He said, “The statements made by the Chief Minister about Afghan refugees go against the state’s policy.”
He also criticized Ali Amin Gandapur for making irresponsible remarks and said such statements raise questions about national integrity.
Kundi stated that the time has come for all institutions and leadership to unite and work together for the country’s stability. Governor added that PTI’s agenda is only to spread chaos and make baseless accusations.
Faisal Karim Kundi also said, “We fully support the policies of the federal government.”
