Heavy rains and landslides have blocked multiple sections of the Karakoram Highway, leaving hundreds of travelers stranded between Islamabad and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Snowfall and continuous rain in the northern regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan have disrupted daily life, further complicating travel conditions.
According to reports, the highway is blocked at two points between Dasu and Diamer, with efforts underway to clear the route.
A Diamer Police spokesperson stated that the road remains closed in the Upper Kohistan area of Loter, while the Bhasha to Raikot section, which was shut due to landslides last night, has now been reopened.
