The incident came to light after a video of the injured donkey went viral on social media, prompting local police to take action.
According to police officials, a case has been registered against the landlord, Owais Gujjar, for the cruel treatment of the animal. The donkey’s ear was chopped off and its spine was broken, leaving it severely injured.
This incident is not an isolated one, as another donkey in Hyderabad was subjected to severe torture, resulting in the breaking of its two legs. The donkey was rushed to Karachi for treatment but unfortunately succumbed to its injuries.
