Peshawar:
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has declared that 2025 will be a pivotal year, stating, “Either we will stay or they will stay.”

In a recent media interaction in Dera Ismail Khan, Gandapur asserted that restoring peace in the province is his responsibility, and he will ensure it. He added that the opposition lacks popular support and cannot reach the people, while his government enjoys the strength of public backing. He also stated that the issue in Kurram, which has persisted for 50 years, is nearing a resolution and that he will be the one to solve it.

The Chief Minister emphasized that a government’s performance is evident through its economy. “We have increased our revenue by more than 24%. If they have improved their economy, they should show it,” he said.

Gandapur further highlighted that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) had acknowledged that only Khyber Pakhtunkhwa met its targets, with the province exceeding its revenue target by 103 billion rupees. “Punjab, on the other hand, is facing a 150 billion rupee deficit. They claim success, but this is not success,” he remarked.

He also criticized the federal government and Punjab for their economic mismanagement, stating that those leading provinces into deficits should face severe consequences. “Whoever is in deficit should be held accountable,” he added.
