Kazakhstan takes 2-0 lead over Pakistan in Davis Cup

Kazakhstan raced to a 2-0 lead against Pakistan in the Davis Cup World Group 1 Play-off tie at Astana (Kazakhstan) on Saturday, winning both the opening singles with ease.
Alexander Shevchenko got better of Muzammil Murtaza without any real efforts 6-2, 6-1 with Beibit Zhukayev recovering well from a close first set to beat Huzaifa Abdul Rehman 7-5, 6-0. Doubles and reverse singles are to be played on Sunday.
