Mumbai( The COW News Digital) In a startling revelation, Bollywood security expert and actor Ronit Roy has disclosed that actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was also targeted shortly after the attack on her husband, Saif Ali Khan, earlier this year.
Speaking in a recent interview with an Indian news channel, Ronit Roy, the owner of the private security firm responsible for Saif’s protection, said that while Saif was returning home from the hospital following the January assault, Kareena Kapoor faced a frightening incident of her own.
According to Roy, large crowds had gathered outside their residence to catch a glimpse of Saif. Amid the chaos, Kareena was also on her way home in a separate vehicle when her car was allegedly attacked.
“The attack on her vehicle appeared minor, but the impact was intense enough to shake the car,” Ronit explained. “There were media personnel and a huge crowd pressing against her vehicle, which created a serious panic situation.”
Kareena reportedly called Ronit immediately after the incident, urging him to ensure Saif’s safe return home. Ronit and his team had already prepared for Saif’s transfer with support from the local police. After Kareena’s call, Ronit personally went to escort her back to their residence, where security arrangements had been reinforced.
He further added that the security audit of Saif and Kareena’s residence revealed several vulnerabilities, which were quickly addressed. “I instructed my team to enhance protective measures, and additional protocols were implemented to ensure their safety,” he said.
The January 16 attack on Saif Ali Khan had left him seriously injured. He was hospitalized in intensive care for several days. The motive behind the assault remains unclear, and authorities have not yet disclosed whether arrests have been made.
This new revelation has sparked renewed concerns about celebrity safety in India, especially when high-profile stars are constantly in the public eye. Fans and media often crowd around star residences, creating risky scenarios that could quickly spiral out of control.
While both Saif and Kareena have yet to comment publicly on the matter, sources close to the family confirm that additional private security remains in place around their home, and the couple is taking all necessary precautions for their safety.
