Accomplished Bollywood producer Karan Johar has lately reacted to the criticism targeting his latest production Nadaniyan performed by emerging actors Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan.
In case the readers are not aware, Karan Johar has introduced celebrated star Saif Ali Khan’s son, Ibrahim Ali Khan, in Bollywood with his film Nadaaniyan: but the film, unfortunately, received severe backlash for its cringe-worthy dialogues, and poor performances by the cast.
However, lately, Karan appeared in the trailer launch event of his upcoming production Akaal where the filmmaker addressed the criticism surrounding the film Nadaniyan.
Firstly, reacting to the criticism over Khushi and Ibrahim Ali Khan’s acting abilities, Karan said: “I would just say the famous line from an old movie (People will always talk and it is their job to do so), let go of the unnecessary chit-chat before the night fades.”
Talking about the criticism of the movie, Karan said that he welcomes critics but he has a problem with some people who target a person or thing specifically, due to ‘personal grudges.’
