Goldsmith shared the news on the microblogging site X, stating that she had to take this step due to the harassment. She also took a jab at the alleged perpetrators, noting that they had banned Twitter and X in Pakistan, but her message would still reach those using VPNs.
The producer expressed her frustration with the ongoing situation, saying that Pakistani politics continues to affect her even 20 years after leaving the country.
