The Islamabad High Court has postponed the hearing on PTI leader Shoaib Shaheen’s request to remove his name from the travel ban list.

The case was heard by Justice Arbab Mohammad Tahir. Shoaib Shaheen appeared before the court in person. The petitioner argued that his name was initially placed on the Pakistan National Identification List (PNIL), but was removed by the FIA upon a court order. He claimed that his name was later added to the Passport Control List as part of political victimization.

In response, an FIA representative informed the court that Shoaib Shaheen’s name was not on any list from their side. A representative from the Passport Office also clarified that Shaheen’s name had been mistakenly added to the list, but the error has now been corrected, and his passport has been reactivated. The representative apologized for the mistake.
