Ireland Series: PCB Confirms Pakistan Women’s Squad

LAHORE:( The COW News Digital) — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a 15-member women’s squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland, scheduled to be played from August 6 to 10 in Dublin.

Fatima Sana will be leading the team, for the three-match T20I series.

A pre-series training camp will take place in Karachi, where the selected players will undergo conditioning, skill enhancement sessions, and match simulations ahead of the high-stakes tour.

Additionally, squad features one fresh face, the 20-year-old right-handed batter Eyman Fatima.

She brings experience from representing Pakistan at the inaugural ICC Women’s U19 World Cup in 2023.

Fatima earns her maiden senior call-up following impressive performances, notably scoring 287 runs at a striking rate of 155.14 in the National Women’s T20 Tournament held in Karachi last May.

Fatima Sana (Captain), Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Eyman Fatima, Gull Feroza, Najiha Alvi, Muneeba Ali, Natalia Parvaiz, Nashra Sandhu, Rameen Shamim, Sadaf Shams, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, Tuba Hassan, Waheeda Akhtar.

Non-traveling reserves: Neha Sharmin, Omaima Sohail, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Sidra Nawaz and Syeda Aroob Shah.

Considering the teams’ previous performance in Bangladesh vs. Pakistan ODI where PAK-W won by 7 wickets. Enthusiasts are looking forward to their performance in Dublin.

8 Aug – Second T20I at Clontarf Cricket Club, Dublin

10 Aug – Third T20I at Clontarf Cricket Club, Dublin
